About Us
Galaxy Sports Academy is a vibrant football society committed to nurturing young people’s potential and guiding them toward success through the beautiful game. Our mission is to empower youth by using football as a platform for personal growth, skill development, and lifelong opportunity.
Founded in 2021, Galaxy Sports Academy operates under the legal registration of Galaxy Sports Youth Group, in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Since our inception, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to youth development, focusing on both athletic excellence and personal mentorship.
What We Do
Organize tournament for scouting
Provide training facilities and trained coaches
Facilitate enrolment to learning institutions through sport scholarships
Provide mentorship for responsible and successful citizenship
Keep them away from alcoholism, drug abuse and radicalization in to banditry
We recruit players in high school, across north rift in Kenya from under privileged homes and provide opportunities to college education through sports scholarship.
Players Age Group Structures
17-21 years
The main objective of this phase is to give the players opportunities to pursue college education, while optimizing their soccer skills to increase visibility and possible signing to established clubs. College education is one way to ensure success in future.
Under 16 years
The main objective of this phase is to give the players good foundation in both education and football development. It is important to enable very child from poor homes to acquire the skills that enable to excel in school, while developing their foot ball talents. Issues of discipline, hard work, and dedication to everything they do are taught. Besides, trained coached are engaged in order to ensure proper football development in to the future.
Our needs
Our appeal is that we need 28,000 Shillings (280 USD) every week to facilitate our matches and training for the season starting October 2025 to June 2026. Other costs include 480 dollars per month for accommodating the players. Further we are also seeking the following items as shown below.
- Soccer balls
- Soccer uniforms( jersey, shorts and stockings)
- Goalie gloves
- Soccer Boots
- Shin guards
